EDITORIAL ARTICLE #F35:
For the 35th issue of FORMAT, we explored the theme of thinking in stereotypes and extremes. Our goal was to shed light on the topic while keeping the tone lighthearted and accessible. We created a series of playful illustrations. We drew entirely using our trackpads in Figma to tell a fictional story about a guy who encounters this phenomenon four times throughout his day. Alongside these visuals, we wrote a more serious text that explained the concept, creating an article that bridges depth with an engaging, enjoyable reading experience.PROCESS AND MY PART:
We completed this project entirely as a team, sharing most tasks equally throughout the process. I created the majority of the trackpad illustrations, with some parts developed collaboratively. Together, we designed multiple layout versions of the article, experimenting with different visual directions. The entire piece was produced in close collaboration, often working side by side during in-person sessions. This way of working allowed us to combine our strengths, maintain a consistent visual tone, and ensure that every element reflected our shared creative vision.
